Knightsbridge Waterproof 13A 2 Gang Switched RCD Socket – High quality, premium switched socket with built-in Type A RCD. These switched sockets are perfect for use outdoor applications. For example, you could use these sockets for powering a lawnmower or hedge trimmer. If any electrical issues occurred, the RCD would immediately trip the socket. This adds an extra layer of protection on top of the MCBs in your consumer unit.

- Manufactured from robust, high impact grade polycarbonate for a long life
- Black finish with a smoked black front casing for indicator visibility
- IP66 / IK06 rated
- RCD protected, double pole twin switched socket
- Transparent user-friendly lid with large catch feature makes it simple and easy to open and close, lid can hold open when required for ease of use
- Wider cable channels and casing will accommodate most plugs with thick over-moulded strain relief typically associated with outdoor products
- Multiple 20mm cable entries/exits allow for optimum positioning
- Outboard rockers
- Double pole switches
- Dual earth terminals
Type A RCD for AC residual current and pulsating DC up to 6 mA. Suitable for equipment with electronic components such as IT equipment.
Passive (latching) type, which will automatically reset after a power outage, without the need for manual resetting.
