7 Core SWA Cable

SWA Cable 7 Core is a type of Steel Wire Armour electrical cable. The armour is inside the cable itself to protect the insulating layers beneath. It’s a type of mechanical protection, therefore it makes the cable suitable for outdoor use and laying underground. Use Cable Cleats to attach the cable to walls etc.

This cable contains 7 numbered cores, as suggested by the name. The steel wire armour provides a level of mechanical and chemical protection. This makes the cable suitable for use outdoors and buried underground.
