Armoured Cable is a type of mains electrical cable that includes a galvanised steel wire armour below the outer sheath. This protects the cable from chemical, mechanical & thermal stresses. It is also suitable for outdoor use.

Single Phase Armoured Cable (Coloured Cores)

This cable is construction-wise the same as standard armoured cable, however the difference being the core identification (colours). As opposed to be the standard brown, black and grey cores, this cable contains brown, blue & green/yellow cores. This makes it easier to identify each core without needing to heat shrink or mark the different cores.
