SY Cable is a control cable constructed from PVC insulation, bedding and transparent PVC sheathing. The cable features braided armour underneath the sheathing for protection. This cable is not suitable for fixed installations, as stipulated in the regulations set by BS7671.
SY Control Cable uses include environments where there is a risk of damage as the braided armour helps protect it. Other places where SY Control Cable is found include environments such as indoor dry, damp or wet areas. A great example where SY electrical cable is perfect for is powering a generator that needs to be moved around.
