Downlights

Recessed Downlights are a great option for many homes and places of business due to their shallow depth. This allows for a discreet installation and a clean finish in any room or surrounding environment. They also create a very modern and contemporary look.

Downlights come in a variety of forms and include a range of features such as a 90 minute Fire Rating, twist & lock front bezel and are available with different finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, white and polished brass. They’re also available using pressed steel (entry level or budget range) or die-cast aluminium (premium ranges).

Pressed Steel Downlights are ordinarily more cost-efficient however still hold up well to daily wear and tear. Unless specified, they include a steel circlip to hold the lamps in place. They are available with both fixed and tilt bezels.

Die-cast Aluminium Downlights are a great option if you’re looking for a more premium downlight. Due to the construction, they’re corrosion-resistant. All our bathroom lights are die-cast aluminium, which helps them maintain their IP65 rating.
Ordinarily, these downlights include a ‘twist & lock’ fascia. This means that the bezel has a separate inner part which can be removed separately. This helps when changing lamps such as GU10 LEDs.
